Capstone Translocal Partnerships is a collective of Christian believers who see the church beyond its locality through the eyes of the Great commission. It is essentially a collective of differently gifted partners, passionate about Jesus, the church and winning the lost. We have no membership forms or a system of imposing CTP’s authority on relating churches, because we believe that friendship/relationship is never imposed, but it is voluntary and all partnering local churches retain their autonomy. The relationship we have with local churches is a very important stimulus to us as we work together to fulfil the Great Commission. The churches that choose to work and partner with CTP come from many different backgrounds; some may be newly planted churches, while others are churches that have been around longer than us, but found in CTP an expression of New Testament model of churches that are built on the foundations of the Apostles and Prophets, which is purely based on relationships that are long lasting and subsequently wanted to be part of that.
Local churches that work and partner with CTP may decide otherwise without having to resign from CTP. As friendship, recognition, trust, honor, accountability and mutual gifting in God is recognized and accepted and the acceptance of our foundational value that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, and is the only acceptable standard for life, ministry, doctrine, direction, discipline, design of the church life and conduct in the Church in general, churches are able to invite any CTP partner member to come and minister who they feel will help them to build the their local church. Although there are local churches that relate to CTP, we choose to recognize all members of the body of Christ in whichever form they appear, yet partner with those who share similar values to us.
